Vinai has been working with the Magento platform since 2008 as a Developer, Trainer, Author, Mentor ,and technical director at Hyvä Themes and now as part of the Mage-OS board. Besides being three awarded the Magento Masters title three times in a row, he has gained reputation through open source contributions and being a speaker at conferences.
He has been doing Magento work since the early versions in 2008. What began as a hobby, has turned into a full-time job, with just as much fun as before. Now his hobbies include beer brewing, wakeboarding during summer, and playing board games year-round. A high-quality code and making elgentos a great working environment for all employees are two very important aspects of his day-to-day activities. Besides his CTO role at elgentos and their spin-off Signalise.io he is also a Board Member at Mage-OS.”
The founder of Centuria, he has been operating in the IT industry for 20 years. He is a Ph.D. and assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He has extensive experience in designing IT infrastructure for large and medium-sized e-commerce. He is also the only Polish representative of Mage-OS Association board.
